Or maybe this is your very first van and you’re hoping to start your caravanning adventure with something for all the family.

Whatever the case, there are some excellent 6 berth caravans on the market which should keep everyone happy.

These types of caravans will typically come with spacious lounges, kitchens and washrooms, ensuring everyone will have plenty of space to have an enjoyable touring experience. However, the flip side is you’ll generally need a larger tow car.

The luxury end of the caravan market seems rather to have backed away from six-berths in recent years. So full marks to Buccaneer for continuing with this model that features a corner bed in the rear, a side dinette that turns into a double, and two large settees in the front lounge that can also be made into a double.

As this is a Buccaneer, you can expect all kinds of added extras on board – like the 40-litre on-board water tank, so you won’t have to keep running out to refill the Aquaroll every time the sixth person has had a shower. The self-levelling is a nice extra comfort too.

The 8ft-wide Buccaneer range went through a major revamp a couple of seasons ago. But this year it has been given a little upgrade, with a full size headboard for the fixed bed, marble effect laminate on worktops and new exterior graphics. Little things that make this caravan that much more special.
